Grace and peace to you all, in Jesus’ name. Welcome to the first edition of ‘The Heart Of The Matter’ in 2024 - a newsletter from God’s Heart TV with the latest ministry updates, encouraging words and uplifting testimonies.
BUILDING BREAKTHROUGH
8th January 2024 marked the second anniversary of God’s Heart TV. The following month of February marked the most significant step taken since our launch - the acquisition of a building! Yes, by God’s grace, we are excited to share with you all that God’s Heart TV has purchased a former chapel in North Wales - for the purpose of establishing a brand new studio!
Whilst we recognise that online services are not a replacement for in-person gatherings, the Interactive Prayer Services remain at the heart of God’s Heart TV’s mission - providing a unique opportunity to minister to thousands of people worldwide simultaneously. We currently receive over 5,000 prayer requests for Interactive Prayer each month. This new and larger studio will enable us to serve and minister to even more people worldwide through our monthly Interactive Prayer Services, as well as providing the opportunity to expand our range of programmes. It will also serve as a dedicated base for God’s Heart TV. This project is a huge step of faith - and there is a lot of work to be done before the new studio will be ready for public broadcasts. But we are confident it is happening at God’s time and this is in line with His Sovereign will for the ministry.
We are excited for what the Lord has in store for us in this journey of faith, especially in the coming months as we prepare to relocate. We believe this studio will be a powerful tool used by God to impact countless people worldwide for the Gospel.

SPIRITUAL SENSITIVITY
In his first message of 2024, Brother Chris emphasised the importance of maintaining spiritual sensitivity, warning of the devil’s tactic to try and harden our hearts, which is reflected in our resistance to repentance.
He said, “The mystery of God’s amazing grace is that there is always room for repentance. But take note, people of God - the swiftness of our repentance reflects the degree of our spiritual sensitivity. It's not that we Christians don't make mistakes. We can make mistakes. But when you are spiritually sensitive, you are quick to recognise, quick to respond, quick to reconcile, quick to repent. But resistance to repentance reflects the hardening of the heart. This often manifests itself in the form of internally justifying sin. And if the devil can succeed in hardening your heart, private justification of sin will soon turn to public toleration of sin, even public celebration of sin - not only by what we do but by what we fail to do. If you don't stand for something, then you will definitely fall for something.”

GLOBAL CHARITY PROJECTS
God’s Heart TV has remained focused on continuing humanitarian projects around the world. Our recent projects have included providing carpentry tools for a rehabilitation centre in Colombia, giving foodstuffs and medical care to the Corozalito community in Honduras and supporting children in a rural community in Veracruz, Mexico.
Over the festive period, God’s Heart TV also supported a local charitable organisation near Manchester, UK, with boxes of food and special Christmas items.
GOD’S HEART TV FRANÇAIS
In January 2024, God’s Heart TV was launched in French on YouTube and Facebook. This marks the fourth official channel for God’s Heart TV in other languages, joining our Spanish, Russian and German channels. A team of voluntary translators are also translating the subtitles on God’s Heart TV’s main English YouTube channel into over 20 different languages. These translations are available to view by clicking the ‘Subtitles/CC’ button in the Settings of a YouTube video.
In line with our mission to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the four corners of the world, our aim is to launch official channels in as many languages as possible. HOW DELIVERANCE LED TO CAREER BREAKTHROUGH AFTER FIVE YEARS OF STAGNATION
“Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ. I am Michael from The Netherlands. It’s impossible to write down my detailed testimony since I could write a book about it containing many dreams, visions and supernatural encounters with God. However, I would like to glorify God on this platform and affirm that Brother Chris is a genuine servant of God. The short version is that in 2016, my whole world fell apart after losing my PhD course against my will (which I had worked on for more than five years) and at the same time losing my residency in cardiology (a training program to become a cardiologist). After this major loss, I tried with everything within me to regain my cardiology residency by working very hard and applying at many hospitals from 2016 to 2021, even applying for other medical specialties – but all to no avail. I eventually became so desperate that I made plans to emigrate to Germany and leave everything behind in order to pursue my medical career abroad.
“But there was another greater problem, which was the losing of my faith in God due to my desert season in which I felt abandoned for years. So, out of desperation, I contacted The SCOAN in Lagos, Nigeria, in January 2021, asking to be prayed for - because I knew what my problems were. I was suffering from the spirit of lust in the form of pornography, the spirit of anger and a spirit of rejection that held my career stagnant for five years. And on 12th May 2021, just three weeks before Prophet T.B. Joshua ascended to glory, I was invited to partake in an Interactive Prayer Service. And here comes the involvement of Brother Chris because at that time he was still serving under Prophet T.B. Joshua at The SCOAN. Two nights before the Interactive Prayer, I had a dream in which a rabbit and a snake caught fire from a stream of lava coming out of my mobile phone and the fire killed both the rabbit and the snake. On the next night (the night before the service) I had another dream in which Brother Chris was praying for me fervently under a rainy sky. When Brother Chris finished his prayer, he walked down a path along a river. I started running after him to thank him but while running, I got sick and had to vomit. So, I stopped at a nearby bush in which I vomited streams of water and milk ending with vomiting a black poisonous ball which I had eaten from the hands of the enemy in a dream back in 2014! After vomiting the black ball, I felt very light - as if I was being carried by invisible hands and these invisible hands carried me along the same path that Brother Chris walked down on.
“When I woke up from this dream, I immediately had a feeling that Brother Chris would be the one praying for me during the Interactive Prayer, despite the fact that The SCOAN had not disclosed beforehand who would minister to me. But glory to God! As soon as I heard the voice of Brother Chris while awaiting the Interactive Prayer, I knew I was already delivered by God. I also immediately understood my dream with the fire coming out of my mobile phone killing the rabbit and the snake – because I was tuned in by my mobile phone during the live prayer broadcast. During the prayer session I did not vomit anymore because I was already delivered in my dream at night. I have attached the picture showing when I received prayer from Brother Chris.
“Two months after my deliverance, God gave me a detailed dream in which He instructed me to apply at the same hospital that expelled me in 2016 and kept rejecting my applications for years. But when God says yes, no one can say no! And so, after this application, I got accepted against all odds, just like God had promised me beforehand! Now I am back on track as a cardiologist in training but with a totally changed spiritual life with the Word of God being the standard for my life. And it has been nearly three years without pornography after an addiction of 20 years! All glory to Jesus Christ, the Son of The Most High God!
“Dear person reading this, God is able to make a way in the wilderness for you too, whatever your situation or crisis is. Ask God to give you the faith to believe that He can do it for you too. Jump into His Word (the Bible), pray with a sincere heart, fast and repent of your sins and watch God move... Hallelujah! To God be the glory!”
FIVE YEARS OF BARRENNESS ENDED

DELIVERED FROM 25 YEARS OF BEDWETTING
“Grace and peace to you in the wonderful name of Jesus. My name is Sylvester from Zambia. I want to take this opportunity to thank God for what He has done for me. For the past 25 years, I suffered from the spirit of bedwetting. But the moment I discovered God's Heart TV in October 2022 and started praying with Brother Chris through the Interactive Prayer Services on Zoom, my life has changed! Before my deliverance, I could not sleep peacefully for the fear of wetting the bed. Because of that, my life was in misery. Day and night, I would cry to God in prayers – with no change. But after my deliverance, bedwetting has now become a thing of the past and I can sleep peacefully! Thank You, Jesus!”

MULTIPLE TESTIMONIES IN FAMILY AFTER INTERACTIVE PRAYER
“My name is Galina. I'm from Ukraine. This is my testimony. My friend gave me a link to God’s Heart TV and encouraged me to submit my prayer request for Interactive Prayer. On January 5, 2024, which was my birthday, I sent the prayer request and on the same day, I received an answer from God! I was invited to join the Interactive Prayer Service with Brother Chris on January 6, 2024. I joined the prayer, cried for two hours, and could not calm down!
“During the prayer, my brother Alexander came in and he was drunk. He could barely stand on his feet, and at that time, he had already been on a drinking binge for a week. After sitting with me for 10 minutes during prayer, he ran out of the room and sneezed for more than 15 minutes in another room. In the morning, he did not drink anymore!
“After prayer, I took a shower and went to bed. When I woke up the next morning, I saw myself 10 years younger in the mirror. After that, all my friends said I had changed and confirmed that I looked at least 10 years younger. I have been smiling and rejoicing for the last two weeks! I haven't had this joy for over 15 years! For two years, my blood pressure was 160/100 and did not drop. The day after the prayer, my blood pressure returned to normal and became 125/85. I haven't had this reading for more than four years. Also, the resentment and unforgiveness are gone.
“When I applied for the Interactive Prayer, my eleven-year-old son was seriously ill. He could not walk, had fluid in his hip joints, and suffered from severe pain. After prayer, he received healing! My father has also stopped drinking during these past two weeks. His aggression went away; he has changed.
“I thank God for Brother Chris and the blessed team of God’s Heart TV. I was in despair and thought that nothing else in life would help me. I believe in God and your prayer support is essential and necessary for me! Thank God! Believe God! Seek God! He always answers prayers!”

BEWARE OF SPIRITUAL STRESS
During a recent ‘Word Of Encouragement Service’, Brother Chris warned about the dangers of spiritual stress, taking a valuable lesson from Apostle Paul’s words in Philippians 4:6-10.
He said, “There is no remedy for a troubled heart outside of Christ. If your heart is troubled, reconnect with your Creator. That is the only way. No amount of money can buy peace of heart. No amount of merit can earn peace of heart. There are some things only God can give. Hebrews 4:3 says that when your heart truly believes, you enter rest. That’s the promise of God for us as believers - to have peace within no matter the storms without. If you put your problems into God's hands, He will put His peace into your hearts. In Mark 4, we know the story when Jesus was in the storm in the boat. Jesus was calm in the storm before He calmed the storm. That's the promise of God for our lives as Christians - not the removal of the storm or the absence of the storm, but calmness within the storm. It's calmness on the inside, in the heart. This is what God has promised us. If your situation prompts you to worry, check what you're feeding your spirit with. Check what you're giving attention to. Check what is influencing your thoughts because no one is above influence. A word of advice - don't get carried away by the opinions of people who don’t hold your future. Don't get distracted by the opinions of people who don’t define your destiny. Everyone has opinions; not everyone has wisdom.”

SERMON SNIPPETS ON SOCIAL MEDIA
Short clips of Brother Chris’ sermons continue to prove popular on social media. A video posted on his official Facebook Page titled, ‘What Is Blocking Your Blessings’ has been viewed over 2,500,000 times since being published in December 2023.
An exhortation from Brother Chris about managing relationships, avoiding offence and releasing forgiveness has been viewed over 600,000 times on TikTok since it was published in February 2024.
